All Deposits received are initially paid into the Client Bank Account.
Deposits may be received in 3 ways:
Adding a Pre-Tenancy - a Holding Deposit would normally be taken at this point.
Adding a Tenancy - the balance or full amount of the Deposit would be received.
Manually crediting a Contact's Deposit Account.
Deposits will remain in the Client Account until they are transferred to the Deposit Account or into the TDS Custodial Scheme.
The Transfer Deposits function is provided to allow the easy transfer of held Deposits. A Home Page Reminder is also created when deposits need to be transferred.
