Request Deposit from Custodial Scheme

This option only appears for Tenancies screen where the Deposit Held By is set to Custodial Scheme. Performing this function will help you manage the requests you place with the Custodial Scheme.

The Tenancy Check out process will provide a step to request a Deposit from the Custodial scheme. However, if this option was not selected during the check out process you can make a request at any time using this function.

Following placing the request in Acquaint you will then to contact the Custodial Scheme to place the actual request. Once received you can remove the Outstanding Custodial Scheme Deposit Request from the Home Page.

In the Tenancies screen right click on the Tenancy and choose Request Deposit From Custodial Scheme.

Selecting this option will load a screen asking the User how much Deposit they'd like to request back from the Custodial Scheme.

Using the Custodial Scheme screen

1. Right click on the Tenancy and select Request Deposit From Custodial Scheme
2. Specify a Request date using the calender, this defaults to today
3. Enter amount for the Landlord
4. Enter an amount for Tenant
5. Click Save
6. Contact the Custodial Scheme to request the deposit
7. A Home Page Reminder will be displayed for Outstanding Custodial Scheme Deposit Requests under the Financial tab
8. Contact the Custodial Scheme to Request the Deposit
9. When the Deposit has been returned from the Custodial Scheme action this via Custodial Scheme Deposit Requests screen located under the Financial menu.
