Rooms

The Rooms tab displays a grid of Rooms and other "areas" added against a specific Property. Option buttons available are Add, Edit and Delete.

For each Room the following information is displayed:

• Order - on screen
• Description e.g. "Living Room"
• Full Description - free format text
• Measurement #1 & Measurement #2- can be entered in either Metric or Imperial measurements. Set by the Property Measurement Units in System Configuration

Adding a Room for a Property

1. Click Add and enter the following details.

• Description
• Full Description
• Measurement #1 and #2
• Suffix - where it is measured to e.g. To wardrobe, into eaves
• Floor Area - calculated from the room measures and shown in Sqm and sqft
• Display Order - this is the order it will appear on the Rooms screens and any Property Particulars that are produced.

2. Click Save & New to add another room or Save.

The Calc Floor Area button can calculate the Floor Area based on the Room Measurements. This provides the option to update Details #3 screen with the measurements.

Width & Length measurements are automatically converted to show Metric and Imperial when Web Site Uploading and producing Property Particulars.

For a quicker way to add rooms to a property, click the Template button and select an existing Room Template which will pre-fill some of the details for you.
